Founded in 1949, KAPOSPLAST has been processing natural hair for
the brush industry. The first plastic extrusion machine was put
into operation in 1967.
KAPOSPLAST is the only artificial hair producer in Hungary, the
first to establish plastic packaging tape production in this country.
ISO 9002 quality assurance standards in 1998, in 2001 ISO 14001 and
ISO 9001 integrated systems were introduced. The company's yearly
production is more than 5000 tons. Kaposplast has market-leading
position in several European countries beyond the domestic market.
Our main product range is plastic strapping tapes, plastic threads for the brush and broom industries, monofilaments for industrial and agricultural use and concrete additive plastic fibre called POLITONŽ. A number of products were developed and patented by our engineers. In Central Europe, KAPOSPLAST is the only producer of plastic threads with special cross section of star, cross and Y.
The main goal of KAPOSPLAST is to meet any special requirements of
end-users as far as colour, size and quality concerned.
